Another proposed class action lawsuit claims Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., harmed consumers by allegedly selling vehicles that contained soy-based wiring insulation prone to damage from “rodents and other pests.” According to the 108-page lawsuit filed in Washington, Toyota is aware or should have known about the alleged defect yet has refused to repair rodent-related damage even though the reported issues are covered by consumers’ warranties.
