From Connecticut district court comes a proposed class action that claims The Eric Ryan Corporation sent out unsolicited advertisement fax messages in violation of the junk fax prevention provision of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The lawsuit, filed by Gorss Motels, Inc., claims the defendant sent unauthorized fax messages advertising its services to at least 40 other recipients. The messages allegedly did not contain mandatory opt-out language, the lawsuit says.
