Boger v. Mariam, Inc. et al
Filed: April 6, 2017 ◆§ 8:17-cv-00965-PX
Mariam, Inc., which does business as DARCARS Automotive Group, and Fresh Beginnings Inc., which does business as ELEAD1ONE, are the defendants in a proposed class action.
Mariam, Inc., which does business as DARCARS Automotive Group, and Fresh Beginnings, Inc., which does business as ELEAD1ONE, are the defendants in a proposed class action lawsuit that claims they violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by making telemarketing calls with an automated dialing system. According to the complaint, DARCARS hired ELEAD1ONE to place the calls, which were made without the consumers’ prior consent. The plaintiff argues that his phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry for over five years, but that he has received at least two calls from ELEAD1ONE. The suit seeks injunctive relief from the defendents’ “intrusive, nuisance telemarking practices” and monetary relief for proposed class members.
