A licensed California real estate agent is behind a proposed class action claiming Blue Light Security, Inc. violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by using an automatic dialing system to place calls to his cell phone without prior consent. The defendant allegedly used an automatic dialing system to call the plaintiff and proposed class members, a violation of the TCPA.
According to court documents (which can be read below), proposed class members may be eligible to recover $500 for each unwanted call placed using auto-dialing technology by the defendants.
