A class action lawsuit filed in New York claims Superior Stone & Interiors broke federal and state labor laws by failing to pay proper minimum, overtime, and spread-of-hours pay. According to the plaintiff, prior to his employment with the defendant it was verbally agreed upon that he would be paid $65 per hour. Despite working 60 hours a week over the course of three weeks, the complaint says, the plaintiff received no pay at all. After his resignation, the plaintiff says he repeatedly asked for his wages, but was still paid nothing.
