Filed: August 29, 2017 ◆§ 2:17-cv-01180
REV-1 Solutions, LLC is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit claiming it falsely purported to be a licensed debt collector in the state of Wisconsin.
REV-1 Solutions, LLC is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit claiming it falsely purported to be a licensed debt collector in the state of Wisconsin. The plaintiff allegedly received a collection letter from the defendant that stated: “This collection agency is licensed by the Division of Banking in the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions.” The suit claims, however, that REV-1 does not hold a collection agency license in the state of Wisconsin and that the language in its letter is a “false, deceptive, or misleading representation” designed to coerce payment from the plaintiff.
