Shore Funding Solutions Hit with Lawsuit Over Unsolicited Texts

A proposed class action lawsuit has been filed against Shore Funding Solutions, Inc. alleging that the company sent text message advertisements to thousands of people using an automated dialing system. The plaintiff claims he received three separate text messages from the defendant in an attempt to solicit his business, and the texts were unlawfully sent without his prior consent. The suit argues that the plaintiff suffered “concrete harm” as a result of the texts because they “tied up Plaintiff’s telephone line, invaded Plaintiff’s privacy, disturbed Plaintiff’s solitude and wasted Plaintiff’s time.”
