Tiffany v. Lukas et al
Filed: July 24, 2017 ◆§ 3:17-cv-01491-JLS-BGS
Sell It Fast CA and its owner are defendants in a proposed class action filed over supposed Telephone Consumer Protection Act violations.
A California consumer has filed a proposed class action against defendants Eric Lukas and his company, Sell It Fast CA, over alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The plaintiff claims the defendants placed automated marketing calls, or “robocalls,” to consumers’ cell phones without first being given express permission to do so. The complaint further notes the alleged robocalls were placed via an automatic telephone dialing system, the use of which for non-emergency purposes is prohibited under the TCPA.
