A California woman has filed a proposed class action against defendant Secure One Capital Corporation for allegedly violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

A California woman has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against defendant Secure One Capital Corporation for allegedly violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by placing unwanted calls to consumers’ cell phones. The plaintiff claims she received several autodialed calls on her cell phone from the defendant without ever providing her prior consent. She requested that Secure One cease calling her, but continued to receive the robocalls, according to the complaint.
The suit seeks to cover anyone in the U.S. who received an autodialed call on his or her cell phone from the defendant within the past four years and did not give prior consent to receive the call.
