A proposed class action has been filed in California federal court against Thunderbird Collection Specialists, Inc. in which the plaintiff claims he received at least one robocall from the company despite never providing express consent to be contacted.
A proposed class action has been filed in California federal court against Thunderbird Collection Specialists, Inc. in which the plaintiff claims he received at least one robocall from the company despite never providing express consent to be contacted. Citing suspected Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) abuses, the lawsuit claims the solicitation robocalls from the defendant were placed through an automatic telephone dialing system to consumers nationwide, including to those whose numbers are in the national Do-Not-Call Registry. According to the lawsuit, the defendant continued to call the plaintiff despite the man’s request for the communications to stop.
