A Georgia law firm is the named plaintiff in a proposed class action against RDAP Law Consultants, LLC over the latter’s alleged practice of sending junk advertisement faxes in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The Gwinnett County law firm behind the action claims the Michigan-based defendant, a “federal sentencing, post-conviction and prison consulting” firm for criminal defendants, sent faxes advertising its prison support programs without prior express invitation or permission.
