A West Virginia woman says research company Radial Insight robocalled consumers' cell phones without consent.
Radial Insight LLC faces a proposed class action out of Virginia in which the plaintiff claims the research services company unlawfully placed automatically dialed calls to consumers’ cell phones. The plaintiff, a West Virginia woman whose number is listed in the national Do Not Call Registry, claims she’s never done business with the defendant nor provided consent for the company to contact her. The woman states when she eventually spoke over the phone with one of the defendant’s representatives, the individual confirmed that the call had been autodialed. The plaintiff’s number was supposedly acquired from voter registration data, the complaint reads.
