PointBreak Media LLC, is facing a proposed class action alleging the parties’ “aggressive telemarketing” efforts violated the TCPA.
Online marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) firm PointBreak Media LLC, which operates as Point Break Media, and two individuals with control over the business are the defendants in a proposed class action alleging the parties’ “aggressive telemarketing” efforts violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). More specifically, the lawsuit claims the defendants placed unsolicited robocalls to consumers’ cell phones as part of the company’s marketing for its SEO services via automatic telephone dialing technology. The 20-page lawsuit seeks up to $500 per alleged violation of the TCPA.
