Independent energy company Pattern Energy Group has been accused of misleading its investors by making false statements about its operational and compliance policies.
Independent energy company Pattern Energy Group has been accused of misleading its investors by making false statements about its operational and compliance policies. According to the complaint, Pattern Energy failed to disclose that it lacked effective internal financial controls and, when that fact came to light, its stock fell in market value. Named plaintiff Terence Walsh asserts that Pattern Energy violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and therefore seeks reasonable compensation for himself and others similarly situated.
