NPAS, Inc. is on the receiving end of a proposed class action that alleges the company sent debt collection letters that didn’t contain required disclosures mandated by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
NPAS, Inc. is on the receiving end of a proposed class action that alleges the company sent debt collection letters that didn’t contain the required disclosures. The notices supposedly concerned medical expenses incurred in early 2017 on which the plaintiff defaulted. Specifically, the lawsuit argues that the letters failed to identify the defendant as a debt collector attempting to collect a debt and neglected to inform the plaintiff of her right to dispute the purported obligation or request verification.
