New York
A proposed class action out of New York federal court alleges Tri-State Adjustments, Inc. sent a collection letter to a consumer that failed to identify the creditor to whom the alleged debt was owed.
The plaintiff claims he received a November 2017 notice from the defendant that indicated a “client” called Ginny’s. The suit says the word “creditor” did not appear anywhere in the letter, which left the plaintiff “confused and perplexed” as to whom the obligation was owed.
