Ocean County, New Jersey dance club D’Jais, LLC is the defendant in a proposed class action lawsuit filed over alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
The plaintiff claims he received unsolicited telemarketing text messages from D’Jais on at least 11 occasions between December 2017 and May 2018. According to the complaint, the texts, which advertised upcoming events and included ticket links, were sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. The plaintiff never provided D’Jais with prior express consent to contact him via text message, the case claims.
