Nebula Holdings, LLC (which does business as Nebula Financial) is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that claims the defendant violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
New York
Nebula Holdings, LLC (which does business as Nebula Financial) is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that claims the defendant violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by sending unsolicited text messages to consumers’ cell phones. The plaintiff says in November 2017, he began receiving text messages from Nebula regarding a loan, despite “a lack of consent or prior relationship with the Defendant.” The messages were sent using automated dialing technology and continued even after the plaintiff revoked his consent, according to the suit, invading the plaintiff’s privacy and causing him to incur charges for the unwanted texts.
