An Illinois signage and display company is the plaintiff in a proposed class action alleging defendants Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation and City Electric Supply Company unlawfully sent out junk fax advertisements in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The complaint alleges the defendants’ junk faxes were sent to at least 40 other recipients without mandatory, conspicuous opt-out language, ostensibly leaving the parties with no means to avoid receiving the unsolicited communications.
