Michigan Doctor’s Office Takes Issue with Regional Medical Imaging’s Fax Advertisements

A proposed class action has been filed against Regional Medical Imaging, P.C. after the company allegedly sent an unsolicited fax advertisement to a local Michigan business. The message supposedly contained information promoting the defendant’s “products or services” and was sent without authorization. The plaintiff claims it “had no prior relationship” with the defendant and no way to avoid receiving the offending fax, noting that its fax machines are “left on and ready to receive the urgent communications” needed in the running of its business.
