Heath, Attorney at Law, PLLC (which does business as Lexington Law Firm) is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that alleges violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The plaintiff says he received several unsolicited calls and text messages to his cell phone from the defendant attempting to sell him credit repair services. The calls and texts were allegedly made using an automated dialing service and violated the plaintiff’s privacy. According to the complaint, Lexington Law has previously been sued over TCPA violations, but has nevertheless continued its illegal telemarketing practices.
