Daily News, L.P., the parent company of the NY Daily News, is on the receiving end of a proposed class action alleging the publication’s website, NYdailynews.com, violates the Americans with Disabilities Act. The plaintiff, a deaf New York man, claims the Daily News’ online offering unlawfully contains accessibility barriers that “make it impossible for deaf and hard of hearing users to comprehend the audio portion of videos” posted on the website.
