Filed: February 10, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-00781
A New York man has filed a proposed class action that claims defendant New York Health & Racquet Club Foundation, Inc's website, Nyhrc.com, is not compliant with the ADA.
New York
A blind New York man has filed a proposed class action that claims defendant New York Health & Racquet Club Foundation, Inc.’s website, Nyhrc.com, is not compliant with regulations set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The lawsuit alleges the defendant’s website unlawfully contains accessibility barriers that “make it difficult, if not impossible, for blind customers” to use, to the extent that it is “impossible for blind users to even complete a transaction on the website.”
The plaintiff says he went to Nyhrc.com to purchase products but was unable indecently browse the website.
