New Jersey
A proposed class action has been filed against Florida Health Solution, Inc. after the company allegedly placed at least 24 automated phone calls to a consumer’s cell phone without his prior consent. The plaintiff claims the calls used a prerecorded voice and attempted to solicit his business. According to the suit, a representative of the defendant eventually came on the line during each phone call and spoke to the plaintiff in Spanish. The man argues that the calls violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, noting that he had no prior relationship with the company and never provided it with his personal information.
