Filed: September 14, 2017 ◆§ 8:17-cv-01598
A California consumer has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Fusion Brands America Inc. claiming its CLEAN Reserve skin [reserve blend] scent product is deceptively packaged.
A California consumer has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Fusion Brands America Inc. claiming its CLEAN Reserve skin [reserve blend] scent product is deceptively packaged. According to the suit, the product’s packaging contains “a false bottom and a false top” (pictured below) that tricks consumers into thinking they’re buying more than the container actually holds. Citing alleged violations of California state law, the case argues that consumers, including the plaintiff, would not have purchased the CLEAN Reserve skin scent product had they known the packaging was “substantially empty.”
