Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego is under the gun for alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). According to a proposed class action lawsuit, the hospital allegedly used an automatic telephone dialing system that utilized an artificial prerecorded voice to place calls to consumers’ cell phones.
One of the two plaintiffs who filed the suit says she contacted a law office and mailed cease and desist letters to the defendant’s multiple locations revoking any prior express consent if such was given, but the unwanted calls continued.
