A proposed class action has been filed against Factor75, LLC over a woman’s claims that she was not made aware of the terms of the defendant’s automatic renewal service.
A proposed class action has been filed against Factor75, LLC over a woman’s claims that she was not made aware of the terms of the defendant’s automatic renewal service. According to the complaint, Factor75 offers consumers subscriptions for ready-made meals and other products – a service to which the plaintiff says she subscribed. The case argues that the defendant never provided the woman with an acknowledgment of the subscription’s terms, its cancelation policy, nor information about how to cancel the subscription “in a manner that is capable of being retained” by the plaintiff. The suit claims that the defendant violated California law in failing to disclose to consumers:
