Carolina Narrow Fabric Company (CNF) is facing a proposed class action lawsuit filed by a Michigan business that claims it received an unsolicited fax advertisement from the defendant in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. According to the complaint, the plaintiff had no prior business relationship with the defendant and never provided express consent to receive fax advertisements. The suit argues that the plaintiff suffered damages “in the form of paper and ink or toner consumed” as well as an invasion of privacy.
