Clothing retailer Land’s End is facing a proposed class action out of Connecticut that alleges the company violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by sending out junk advertisement faxes without receiving prior express consent. The lawsuit claims Land’s End sent the junk faxes without mandatory opt-out language that would allow recipients to stop receiving the messages. The proposed class for the suit covers anyone who has received a fax without opt-out language from Land’s End within the last four years who did not give express permission to receive the messages.
