Eisenband v. Garff Enterprises, Inc.
Filed: November 20, 2017 ◆§ 0:17-cv-62274-FAM
The company that runs Ken Garff Automotive Group allegedly placed unsolicited robocalls to consumers' cell phones without consent.
Garff Enterprises, Inc., which does business as Salt Lake City auto dealer Ken Garff Automotive Group, finds itself as the defendant in a proposed class action filed over its supposedly unsolicited telemarketing practices. The lawsuit claims the defendant, in an effort to drum up new business, unlawfully placed automatically dialed calls to consumers’ cell phones without consent or “regard for consumers’ privacy rights.” The plaintiff claims the defendant’s calls utilized a prerecorded message encouraging consumers to visit its dealership.
