Kairos Dental Laboratory Drilled with Lawsuit Over Junk Faxes

Kairos Dental Laboratory and its owner are the defendants in a proposed class action claiming they violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by “routinely and systematically” sending “blasts” of junk faxes without including proper opt-out language. Filed in California district court by another dental company, the lawsuit claims the defendants’ alleged faxes were intrusive to proposed class members and interfered with the plaintiff’s business. The plaintiff says the defendants’ conduct was part of a well-organized mass advertising campaign.
