Idealtel Dominicana USA, Inc. is on the receiving end of a proposed class action filed by a Florida man who claims the defendant sent him text message advertisements without his prior consent in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Idealtel Dominicana USA, Inc. is on the receiving end of a proposed class action filed by a Florida man who claims the defendant sent him text message advertisements without his prior consent in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. According to the complaint, the defendant used an automated dialing system to send texts to the plaintiff’s cell phone that advertised its long distance calling service. The plaintiff claims he never consented to receive the messages, calling them a “disruption to his daily life.”
