New York
A New York man has filed suit against Health Line One, LLC after receiving an allegedly illegal telemarketing phone call from the company without his prior consent. The plaintiff claims the defendant, which the suit says does business as Insurance Line One, LLC, placed a call to his cell phone that used a prerecorded voice and attempted to solicit his business. The complaint claims the call was made in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and unlawfully invaded the plaintiff’s privacy, causing him “annoyance and aggravation.”
