Harley-Davidson of Cool Springs Facing Lawsuit Over Alleged Robocalls

Billings v. Revolution Motorsports
Filed: March 9, 2018 ◆§ 3:18cv277
Harley-Davidson of Cool Springs is the defendant in a lawsuit filed over alleged Telephone Consumer Protection Act violations.
The company that does business as Harley-Davidson of Cool Springs is the defendant in a proposed class action in which the plaintiff claims the motorcycle dealer placed unlawful robocalls without consent.
The plaintiff claims he visited defendant Revolution Motorsports sometime in 2015 and was asked for his contact information. The case says the man did not fill out any forms nor sign any documents and decided not to buy a Harley Davidson from the company. The man claims that, at the time, he did not realize his phone number would be entered into Harley Davidson’s system, leading to alleged repeated phone calls over the next two years. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff surmises he’s received about two robocalls from the defendant per month since mid-2015 despite repeatedly demanding the calls stop.
