Gerber Life Insurance Company is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that accuses the defendant of placing unsolicited robocalls to consumers’ cell phones in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The plaintiff in the case says he received several calls from the insurance company that played him a prerecorded message advertising the defendant’s services. He claims he “has never done any business” with the defendant and never consented to receiving the calls.
