A class action filed in New York claims General Mills deceptively and aggressively advertises its Nature Valley products as “Made with 100% Natural Whole Grain Oats” when, in truth, these claims are false and misleading. According to the 37-page complaint, Nature Valley products are instead made with oats that contain man-made ingredients such as glyphosate, which the complaint alleges is a “potent biocide” and “probable human carcinogen.” The suit seeks to recover refunds for individuals who bought Nature Valley products in New York.
