A proposed collective action filed in Florida claims defendant Telesco Construction Company and its owner are responsible for unpaid time-and-a-half overtime wages. The former employee behind the action, who worked for the defendants from August 2010 through April 2017, alleges he worked between 50 and 60 hours per week for the company without being paid at the Fair Labor Standards Act-mandated time-and-a-half hourly rate for all hours worked past 40 in a workweek.
