Pap’s Café, Ltd. v. MyPizza Technologies, Inc.
Filed: November 7, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-08038
A lawsuit claims the operating company behind the 'Slice' mobile pizza-ordering app sent junk fax messages without first obtaining consent to do so.
An Illinois bar and grill has filed a proposed class action against MyPizza Technologies, Inc. to end the company’s alleged practice of sending unsolicited junk fax advertisements. The plaintiff company claims the mobile pizza-ordering service sent faxes to at least 40 other recipients, with the messages allegedly lacking opt-out language required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
