Filed: January 2, 2018 ◆§ 3:18cv1
Enhanced Recovery Company LLC is facing a proposed class action lawsuit that claims the debt collector used automated dialing technology to place calls to consumers’ cell phones without prior consent.
Florida
Enhanced Recovery Company LLC is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that claims the debt collector used automated dialing technology to place calls to consumers’ cell phones without prior consent. The plaintiff in the case says she received at least 12 calls from the debt collector that were made in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and invaded her privacy. The lawsuit alleges that the defendant knowingly and systematically placed the calls, noting that a former employee claimed many consumers complained to the company of “harassment via dialer.”
