From Maryland comes a proposed class action in which the plaintiff alleges hotels owned, managed or operated by defendant Crestline Hotels & Resorts, LLC offer guest transportation services that are not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The plaintiff, a wheelchair user, claims she called the defendant’s Hyatt Place Baltimore/BWI Airport location and was informed its complimentary shuttle was not wheelchair accessible and Crestline “would not provide alternative accessible transportation service.” The complaint charges “a substantial” number of other hotels operated by the defendant nationwide also do not offer wheelchair- or scooter-accessible guest transportation.
