Bargain Bunch, which operates a website that sells various retail products, is the defendant in a proposed class action lawsuit filed in California. The plaintiff claims she ordered a fountain from the retailer’s website and never received it. After waiting six months and informing Bargain Bunch on several occasions that she had not received her order, she attempted unsuccessfully to get her money back, according to the complaint. The plaintiff believes Bargain Bunch “had no intention of providing the product advertised,” and says she felt “ripped off and cheated.”
The suit claims that proposed class members “have suffered injury in fact and have lost money or property, time, and attention” and that the defendant will continue to practice this “injurious” conduct unless it is restrained by the court.
