USHealth Advisors, LLC and two individuals are on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit filed in Florida federal court that claims they violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by placing automated calls to consumers’ cell phones. The plaintiff says she answered a call from USHealth Advisors and heard a pre-recorded message advertising its services. She claims she never consented to receive the call and had no prior business relationship with the defendants. The suit argues, therefore, that the call was illegal under the TCPA.
