Client Services Hit with 'Misleading' Collection Letter Suit

Client Services, Inc. is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that alleges violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The suit claims the debt collector sent the plaintiff a collection letter that failed to indicate whether the balance stated in the letter would increase due to interest or other charges, or whether the interest would be waived.
