Lead generation and marketing company ClickSpark, LLC is the defendant in a proposed class action claiming the company unlawfully used autodialing equipment to call consumers’ cell phones in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Filed in California, the lawsuit alleges ClickSpark invaded the privacy rights of the plaintiff by using an automatic phone dialing system (that made use of a prerecorded voice message) to call his cell phone. The plaintiff claims he did not give ClickSpark permission to contact him.
