A proposed class action out of California claims Yoga Club, LLC violated state law by failing to provide mandatory information about the automatic renewal of its subscription services.
The plaintiff alleges that when she subscribed to the defendant’s yoga clothing subscription program, she received no acknowledgement from the company that included its automatic renewal/continuous service terms, cancellation policy, and information on how to cancel in a form the woman could retain. Moreover, the case continues, the plaintiff was not provided with a way to cancel her subscription before payment was remitted from her account.
The suit cites alleged violations of California’s Automatic Renewal Law.
