Direct Energy, L.P. is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit filed by a Pennsylvania consumer who accuses the defendant of placing unsolicited telemarketing calls to her cell phone in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The plaintiff claims she never had a business relationship with the defendant and never provided her express written consent to receive the calls.
