Bolin v. Lumber Liquidators, Inc.
Filed: October 14, 2016 ◆§ 1:16-cv-05019-AJT-TRJ
Lumber Liquidators' 'Dream Home' brand of flooring is at the center of another class action lawsuit.
Lumber Liquidators’ “Dream Home” brand of flooring is at the center of another class action lawsuit. Filed this time in Mississippi, the case claims the company’s popular “Dream Home” brand of Chinese-made laminate flooring is not as durable as Lumber Liquidators advertises it to be and is susceptible to premature warping, chipping, fading and wear in high-traffic home areas. The case also alleges Lumber Liquidators has made common practice of blaming “Dream Home” flooring durability issues on problematic installations, moisture problems, and abnormal product abuse. The potential class for this lawsuit may include anyone in the United States who purchased the flooring, as well as a Mississippi-specific subclass.
