A Florida chiropractic firm has filed suit against Innovation Compounding, Inc. after allegedly receiving two unwanted fax advertisements from the company that didn’t contain required opt-out notices. The complaint claims the defendant sent the plaintiff faxes on March 13 and March 27 of this year advertising its goods and services despite never obtaining the plaintiff’s prior consent to receive the messages. Furthermore, the suit argues, the messages didn’t contain federally mandated opt-out notices informing the recipient of how to stop future faxes.
