A New York law firm is the plaintiff in a proposed class action that alleges the below defendants sent junk advertisement fax messages in violation of the TCPA.
A New York law firm is the plaintiff in a proposed class action that alleges the below defendants sent junk advertisement fax messages in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations:
- AICOM Solutions LLC, which does business as AICOM Corporation and provides Time Warner with sales, marketing, and account management
- Time Warner Cable LLC, which does business as Spectrum
- Time Warner Cable Media LLC
- Charter Communications Inc.
- Charter Communications Operating LLC
- John Does 1-10, yet unknown to the plaintiff but believed to have actively participated in the transmission of fax advertisements to the proposed class
The lawsuit alleges the defendants are responsible for sending faxes advertising “an exclusive offer of bundled solutions” without first receiving express permission to send the messages. The case claims at least 39 other parties received the alleged junk faxes in question.
