A new class action out of Michigan claims Benore Logistic Systems violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by not paying its transportation coordinators overtime wages. The company, a third-party provider of supply chain and logistics solutions, is also alleged to have failed to keep accurate time records for all hours worked by employees. The proposed class includes individuals nationwide who were or are employed as transportation coordinators—a role responsible for communicating assigned route plans, trucks and equipment to drivers—by Benore Logistic within three years of the suit’s filing.
